Our Mission
Inclusivity
Community
Transparancy
"Community theater gives an outlet to people who are so passionate about theater as an art form, they are willing to spend all their free time, energy, and focus doing something simply because they love it. To bring joy to their audience, to be brave in a cruel climate, to bring life back behind their eyes. New Leaf was founded to create a warm, safe, collaborative community of people to create the art that fills their soul and sparks joy in the minds of themselves and their audience. Where we focus on fostering talent and ingenuity, and where trust and innovation are valued. Our operating practices include ethical casting decisions and clear communication from the beginning of the process to the final bow and beyond. For artists, we trust you'll find hope, friendship, and a place to take risks with a community that is here to support you if you fall. For our audience, we hope you discover the sheer talent that lingers, hidden amongst your local community, ready to laugh, cry, and explore alongside you."

Get ready to die of laughter! The Trail to Oregon! is a hilarious, high-energy musical parody of the beloved computer game that made generations shout, “You have died of dysentery!” Join one plucky pioneer family as they journey across 19th-century America in search of a better life—and discover chaos, calamity, and comedy at every turn.
Packed with clever lyrics, ridiculous mishaps, and plenty of audience participation, no two performances are ever the same. You get to name the family and decide who lives… and who doesn’t make it to Oregon!
From the creators of A Very Potter Musical, The Trail to Oregon! delivers a night of outrageous fun, unexpected heart, and toe-tapping tunes that’ll have you singing all the way down the trail.
